Licensing and Business Development Unit
The Licensing and Business Development Unit provides main coordination of commercialization and entrepreneurship activities. It manages the process of turning commercially potential intellectual property rights and know-how into commercial value within the scope of commercialization service. This service includes:
- To determine the commercialization strategy
- To prepare license files
- To contact potential licensors and manage negotiations
- To provide with researchers, academicians and industrialists with technical specialties such as spin-off
Necessary supports are provided for researcher, academician and student entrepreneurs on their way to implement business ideas within the scope of the entrepreneurship service. These supports are structured to include different areas such as:
- individual mentorship
- business model development
- customer development
- market analysis
- Technopark process support
